Residents of Mararaba, Nasarawa State, have once again urged Governor Abdullahi Sule to address rising land-grabbing activities.

The residents, particularly those around the popular Orange Market, say alleged land grabbers are using legal disputes to intimidate them.

On Monday, community members described the surge in land-related litigations as a deliberate strategy to frighten and displace locals.

At Airforce Barracks Community near Orange Market, residents demanded immediate intervention from the government to halt the ongoing intimidation.

He stressed that only government intervention could prevent further escalation of disputes and restore peace in affected areas.

Mararaba, a border town between Nasarawa State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), remains vulnerable to these persistent threats.

Residents have now sent a desperate appeal to Governor Sule, urging swift action against the alleged land grabbers’ activities.
