Lagos development outrage

Dear Editor,

I was fortunate enough to live in Albardeira (Lagos) for three years. I left in 2019, sadly. The area currently being proposed for development (in Meia Praia) is home to an abundance of wildlife, including Iberian hares, a huge variety of birds and wildflowers, not to mention pomegranate, olive and cacao trees.

Where is the social housing? Who is this development targeted at? Is there any housing here for the local people? This is absolutely fundamental! Lagos is being ruined by overdevelopment and greed.
