The Executive Governor of Borno State, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, CON, on Tuesday, 24th January 2023, commissioned the 86-housing-unit estate built under the National Affordable Housing Delivery Program for Nigerian Workers in Maiduguri.
The National Affordable Housing Delivery Program for Nigerian Workers is a historic collaboration between the FMBN, the Nigeria Labor Congress (NLC), Trade Union Congress (TUC), and the Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA).
The house types are based on proven social housing models and comprise one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom units, with prices ranging from N3.1M to N8.3M.
Yobe state is one of the eight project locations FMBN, NLC, TUC, and NECA have scheduled to commission 1,071 homes Under phase One of the National Affordable Housing Delivery Programme.
The Commissioner, Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Yuguda Saleh Vungas represented the Borno State Governor at the event.
