This directive, sent to all Federal Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), seeks to improve efficiency in processing official requests nationwide.

The memo stated that many civil servants fail to submit required documents, causing unnecessary delays in processing their requested modifications.

The government now mandates strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to address inefficiencies in administrative request processing.

The memo referenced a previous circular emphasizing compliance with existing regulations for salary migration and other administrative modifications.

It highlighted that MDAs frequently fail to attach necessary documents, delaying salary migration, name corrections, and next-of-kin modifications.

With the implementation of the Human Resource component of IPPIS, strict compliance with updated requirements is now mandatory.

The memo warned that any request submitted without the required documents would not be processed by relevant agencies.

MDAs must ensure compliance with these directives to prevent administrative delays affecting civil servants’ salary migration and name change requests.
