The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has launched a special operation to combat crime in Abuja, the nation’s capital. The operation, called “Operation Sweep Abuja,” will target hawkers, illegal motor park operators, miscreants, and scavengers.
The operation was launched in response to the recent increase in crime in Abuja. In the past few months, there have been a number of kidnappings, armed robberies, and other crimes.
The FCTA says that “it is committed to making Abuja a safe and secure city for everyone.”
“Operation Sweep Abuja” will be carried out by a joint team of police, military, and other security agencies. The team will be deployed to all parts of Abuja to conduct raids and arrests. The FCTA says that it will not tolerate any form of crime in the city.
The launch of “Operation Sweep Abuja” is a positive step towards making Abuja a safer city. The FCTA is to be commended for taking action to address the problem of crime.
The operation is likely to have a significant impact on crime rates in Abuja.
