Officials of the Lagos State Government Code Named Kick Against Indiscipline on Friday morning commenced demolition work at the popular under-bridge transit market at Cele Bus Stop on Oshodi Apapa Expressway in Lagos.

The traders who resumed their trading activities in the wee hours of the day were stunned as officials of the Lagos state government were already on the ground to begin demolition work at the market.

When quizzed, some traders at the market acknowledged the receipt of a quit notice to vacate the expansive popular under-bridge market by officials of the Lagos State government and pleaded that the government should relocate them to a more conducive environment to carry out their trading activities.
