The Institute of Directors IoD, Nigeria Chapter, has laid the foundation of a 15-storey architectural tower, which will become its corporate headquarters.

The President/Chairman of Council, Institute Of Directors Nigeria, Dr. Ije Jidenma, said the tower represented a bold and visionary project that harmonised elegance, functionality, and environmental sustainability.

She spoke at the foundation laying ceremony of the tower in Ikoyi on Tuesday.

Jidenma said, “The tower, when completed, promises to leave an indelible mark on the city of Lagos, reshaping the skyline and setting a new standard in corporate and residential architecture. The fusion of sophistication, modernity, and eco-consciousness makes the IoD Tower an extraordinary symbol of progress and innovation.”

She added that, “One of the distinguishing features of the IoD Tower is its unwavering commitment to sustainability and environmental consciousness.

“The structure has been meticulously designed to meet and exceed all necessary sustainable and environmental certifications.”

 The Chairman of the Advisory, Technical Committee of the Institute of Directors, Dr. Olutoyin Okeowo, said the quest to have a befitting headquarters for the Institute of Directors Nigeria dated back to 2011.
