The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has launched a special operation to combat crime in Abuja, the nation’s capital. The operation, called “Operation Sweep Abuja,” will target hawkers, illegal motor park operators, miscreants, and scavengers.

The operation was launched in response to the recent increase in crime in Abuja. In the past few months, there have been a number of kidnappings, armed robberies, and other crimes.
