Mr C. J. Chinwuba, who briefed Journalists Friday on behalf of chairman of the Appeal Panel, Jaro, said the appeal panel has not received any petition or witnessed any protest since the end of the rerun exercise as allegedly threatened by some people.

Mr Chinwuba said this therefore means that the aggrieved aspirants and their supporters were satisfied with the conduct of the rerun. He said the appeal panel will return to Abuja later today (Friday) to write their report indicating that the rerun was hitch-free, adding that the conduct of the rerun was in line with the law.
