15 Real Estate Dev. Coys, 3 Mortgage Banks, Julius Berger , Royal ,Nigerite CDK Others to receive African Housing Awards on 15th December, 2022

The premiere and most prestigious awards in the housing sector, the African Housing Awards, has penciled down five mortgage banks, 15 real estate companies and ten others as recipients’ of its 2022 Awards of Excellence.

The ceo of Africa Housing Awards, Group, Festus Adebayo – a frontline housing promoter in Africa,made this known in a chat with a cross section of the news media in his Abuja office.

The yearly event which is slated to hold on December 15, 2022 at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, is geared towards promoting excellence and rewarding best practices as well as innovations and achievements recorded in different aspects of the Housing and Construction industry.

Among the awardees are Abbey Mortgage Bank, First Generation Mortgage Bank, CDK, and others.

As part of the awards plans, the ceo of Africa housing awards said Commissioner for Physical Planning of the year is isoken omon , the edo state commissioner for physical planning .

The event which is the sixth in the series, will also witness individual awards where the Executive Governor of Yobe state, Mai Mala Buni would be honoured with the award of Housing-friendly Governor of the year for providing 50% subsidy to the housing needs of families in the state to cushion the challenge of owning their houses.

Affordable Housing Hall of Fame

The award ceremony will also witness the participation of three frontline political parties taking part in the 2023 general elections where they will be telling Nigerians the plans they have for the housing sector when voted into office.

The Special Guest of Honour at the grand event is former Minister for Works and Housing. Arc. Mike Onolememen. Also on the list of invitees are Arc. Musa Sada, former Minister for Sold Minerals and Arc. Gabriel aduku former Minister for Health.

Others are Engr. Kazeem Ali, former President. Nigerian Society of Engineers and Alhaji Suleiman Hassan, former Minister of Environment and chairman of aihs.

The African Housing Awards is an annual event that showcases the who is who in the Nigerian Mortgage sector, Real estate business, Housing and other major players in the Built industry.
