CAP Plc Approves 2022 AFS, Recommends a Dividend of N1.55k for Payment

At the Meeting of the Board of Directors of Chemical and Allied Products Plc held on Monday March 20, 2023 at No 2 Adeniyi Jones Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos at 10.00am (and hosted virtually via Teams conferencing platform), the Board resolved as follows:

  1. That the Audited Financial Statements of the Company for the Year Ended December 31, 2022 (2022 AFS) be and are hereby approved; and that same be submitted to the Nigerian Exchange Limited, the Securities and Exchange Commission and any other relevant regulator in line with regulatorily prescribed timeline;
  2. That a dividend of N1.55 kobo per ordinary share of 50kobo each be recommended for payment to the shareholders subject to appropriate withholding tax and the approval of the shareholders at the Annual General Meeting.

The 2022 AFS will be released to the public on or before 31 March 2023. Consequently, the closed period which commenced on 1 January 2023 will remain in force until 24 hours after the 2022 AFS have been released to the public. 

Therefore, no Director, person discharging managerial responsibility, employees with sensitive information and other insiders of the Company and their connected persons shall directly or indirectly deal in the securities of the Company during the closed period.
