Anambra state Police Command has arrested 43-year old Ikechukwu Ilodinro, for allegedly forging documents with which he planned to take over ownership of his late landlord’s property.
In the documents he presented to clearing authorities, the suspect claimed to be the only son of the deceased landlord, police said.
Haruna Mohammed the Spokesman to the state police command said the impersonator was arrested by detectives attached to B’ Division of the command in Awka, the state capital.
“Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect equally swore to an oath…that he is the deceased’s biological son,” Haruna said in a statement.
