Silverstone Managers has introduced a groundbreaking rental platform called Suite ’N’ Crib, unveiled yesterday in Lagos. The new digital marketplace is a significant step toward modernizing Nigeria’s real estate sector by addressing persistent issues around trust, transparency, affordability and safety.
Suite ’N’ Crib functions as a secure conduit connecting verified property owners and developers to prospective tenants and real estate agents. Through the platform, landlords can list their properties and earn rental income, while tenants can view available apartments and make bookings directly without the need for intermediaries.
Among its most notable features is the flexibility it offers: tenants are no longer bound to traditional yearly or multi‑year leases but may now rent for as little as a month at a time.
Dominic Mukoro, Head of Product at Silverstone Managers, emphasized that Suite ’N’ Crib was designed to benefit stakeholders across the board. “We built this to serve everyone in the real estate value chain from developers and realtors to tenants by leveraging technology to reduce vacancy rates, encourage passive income and make rental processes easier and more transparent,” he said.
By digitizing the rental process, the platform aims to significantly reduce vacancy periods for property owners while providing tenants with reliable, short‑term accommodation options that align with their financial capacity. The launch in Lagos marks the beginning of a broader vision to reshape rental markets across Nigeria, ushering in a more flexible, transparent and technology-enabled era for housing.
