In spite of the effect of Covid-19 pandemic that slows down the World economy, the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has hinted that it has received 8,744 fresh applications seeking for various types of land allocation in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, in the preceding year of 2020.
FCT Director of Land Administration, Adamu Jibrin Hussaini, gave this hint at the end of the year press briefing , yesterday in Abuja.
He noted that, these applications comprise of 5,513 for private residential, 1,828 for commercial purposes and 1,400 for others in the Federal Capital City, Abuja.
Hussaini further stated that the Administration also received two and one applications for diplomatic and government agency respectively.
