Following the recent signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Plateau State Government and Max Airlines, commercial flight operations between Jos and Abuja are to commence on Monday 28th September 2020.
The announcement which was made today by the state Commissioner for Information and Communication, Dan Manjang explained that the flights operated by Max Air are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. “On the scheduled days, the flight will depart Abuja at 15:20 (3:20 pm) and arrive Jos at 16:00 (4 pm) the same days, the flight departs Jos at 16:45 (4:45 pm) to arrive Abuja at 17:25 (5:25 pm)”. He emphasized.

The commissioner said that by this development, interested passengers are encouraged to take advantage of the new opportunity for an easier and faster connection between Plateau State, the Home of Peace and Tourism, and Nigeria’s capital, Abuja.
He said that the Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong will flag off the inaugural flight on Monday 28th September 2020 from Abuja to Jos. “In view of this, citizens of Plateau State, businessmen, tourists, Nigerians, foreigners, and all members of the public are called upon to take advantage of this new opportunity to explore the wonderful economic and social opportunities in Plateau State”. He added.
