A group of landowners at Treasure Park and Garden Phase 2, City of David Estate in Shimawa, Ogun State, have challenged a recent claim by Adron Homes and Properties Limited asserting exclusive ownership of the estate.

The dispute arose after the company reportedly mounted a new signpost at the estate’s entrance on Saturday, October 4, 2025, describing the development as privately owned and managed by Adron Homes.

In a statement issued by one of the residents, Olabode Cole, the landowners described the company’s claim as misleading and made in bad faith, insisting that several individuals had legally purchased plots, paid all necessary development fees, and built their properties within the estate.

They reminded the public that the ownership of the estate is already the subject of an ongoing case before the High Court in Sagamu, Ogun State. The suit, marked HCS/482/2024, seeks a judicial declaration affirming that Treasure Park and Garden Phase 2 is jointly owned by all property owners within the development.

“Adron Homes and Properties Limited cannot declare itself the sole owner of the estate when the matter is still before the court,” Cole stated. “Until judgment is delivered, we urge prospective buyers and other interested parties to exercise caution and verify all ownership details independently.”

The landowners emphasized that their notice serves as a public advisory on the legal dispute surrounding the estate, urging transparency and due diligence in any property transactions involving the development.
