The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has apologised to residents, especially road users along the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Expressway (Airport road) for the electricity blackout that occurred on the night of Wednesday, 21st April 2021.

According to a statement by Mr. Anthony Ogunleye, the Chief Press Secretary to the FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Bello, the blackout was as a result of faults on the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company’s (AEDC) feeder.

“The FCT Administration is in communication with the AEDC for a quick resolution of this problem,” the statement added.

“Members of the public are hereby assured of the commitment of the FCT Administration to offering the best possible public services to all residents of the FCT,”
