Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is not likely to let former Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, off the hook this Wednesday.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain is still being interrogated at the EFCC headquarters in Abuja.
It is still unclear if Okorocha, currently a senator will be allowed to go home today.
Details of the allegations against the 2023 presidential aspirant on the platform of APC are sketchy.
Sources say they are related to suspected monumental graft during his eight-year reign as governor.
Okorocha was arrested by operatives of the anti-graft agency at about 4 P.M. on Tuesday at his Unity House private office in Abuja.
The former governor was arrested after a five-hour standoff with EFCC operatives who trailed him to the location.
EFCC had repeatedly invited the senator to its Abuja headquarters in connection with multiple corruption allegations against him.
Okorocha allegedly declined to honour the invitation, a development that infuriated detectives who fanned out to get him.
