The Julius Berger Coordinator for the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano Road construction and rehabilitation project, Mr. Ibrahim Yusuf, last week, led a team of the company’s Food for Our Communities Campaign to donate palliatives to Kano and Kaduna states.

In a statement, the Head of Media Relations of Julius Berger, Barr. Moses Duku, said the palliatives distribution campaign commenced at section two of the project’s route in Kaduna and proceeded to Zaria. In Kano State, Duku said the Berger team went to Bebeji and Kura and distributed the palliatives through their district heads. The construction giant, in the statement, stressed its commitment to supporting the Nigerian government in the fight against COVID-19, through food donation to states.

The statement further read, “The company has also implemented its Food for our Communities Campaign in Lagos and in communities around the Second Niger Bridge under construction in Anambra and Delta states. Items for the relief packages, which included bags of rice and various cooking supplies, were purchased from local markets in a bid to provide succour to citizens while also backing local traders.”
