Alaro City, in partnership with Universal Homes, has successfully handed over an additional 48 apartment units to subscribers, marking the completion of the second phase of the Universal Homes project, valued at $90 million.

This achievement follows the earlier delivery of the first 48 units in August, underscoring Alaro City’s commitment to its ambitious plan to deliver 576 apartment units. The second phase brings the total number of units completed so far to 96.

Located off the eight-lane Main Boulevard in Alaro City, Universal One is not just about modern apartments—it’s a hub of lifestyle amenities. The development features a three-acre park, a recreational complex, a swimming pool, a football pitch, a gym, and more. Universal One is also a showcase for advanced construction technology, including a formwork system that allows an entire floor to be completed within seven days. This technology, primarily used in the Middle East and Asia, enabled Universal Homes to finish an entire block of 16 units in just 30 days.

Yomi Ademola, Managing Director of Alaro City, expressed pride in the achievement, emphasizing that the completion of this phase is a testament to the company’s ongoing commitment to quality and innovation. “We’re thrilled to welcome more residents to Alaro City, a place where modern conveniences meet sustainability in a thriving community,” he said. “This milestone represents not just individual achievements, but a collective vision brought to life.”

Universal One is now the largest residential development in the Lekki Free Zone, showcasing the potential unlocked through strategic urban planning and investment. This milestone is a clear indicator of the growing confidence in Nigeria’s real estate sector, with both local and international investors— including those in the diaspora— recognizing the opportunities in Alaro City.

Roberto Artuso, Executive Director of Universal Homes FZE, praised Alaro City’s potential as a growth-oriented urban center. “With this second milestone handover, Universal One sets a new standard for modern housing and vibrant communities in an evolving urban landscape,” he said.

Together, Alaro City and Universal Homes are redefining urban living, positioning the development as a gold standard for residential, mixed-use, and industrial growth in the region.
