The coordinator of the Abuja International Housing Show and the Chief Executive of International Housing and Construction Show Ltd Mr. Festus Adebayo has said that the 15th edition of the Abuja International Housing Show is set to discuss some of the challenges facing the housing sector across the country and Africa.

He made this known when he spoke with our correspondent in his office in Abuja.

According to Mr Adebayo, the housing show is one event that discusses issues that border the housing sector by bringing all stakeholders together to discuss the way forward and prospects for the sector.

He noted that “all is set for local and international stakeholders, including experts and investors in the industry to converge in the nation’s capital Abuja for the 15th edition of the popular Abuja International Housing Show (AIHS) due to commence on 26th-29th, July 2021″.

Mr. Adebayo also said that the show provides insights into current trends, opportunities and more in the Nigerian real estate market as it affords stakeholders and investors in the sector to rub minds.

“This show brings together both indigenous and foreign manufacturers of building materials and equipment, interior decorators, estate developers, construction firms, mortgage finance and refinancing institutions and all federal agencies saddled with the responsibility of ensuring decent and affordable housing for citizens are all going to be on the ground”, Mr Adebayo added.

The Abuja International Housing Show is an annual event that provides opportunities for stakeholders to come together to discuss issues in the real estate sector and showcase properties and other investment opportunities.

The event is organized by International Housing and Construction Show Limited -the flagship voice in the housing sector advocacy in Nigeria and the African continent.

This year’s edition anticipates attendance from various interests, including government, the mortgage industry, development firms at various market levels, building materials manufacturers and distributors, and industry professionals.

Over 15,000 participants and 400 exhibitors are expected at the show which, according to the CEO, is a large market for product manufacturers who will be seizing the opportunity offered by the show to showcase and market their products.
