A suspected suicide bomber was killed on Monday, May 26, 2025, when an improvised explosive device (IED) he was carrying detonated near the Mogadishu Cantonment, commonly known as Abacha Barracks, along the Nyanya-Mararaba road in Abuja. According to reports, the suspect was attempting to infiltrate the military facility when he was intercepted by vigilant military personnel.
