Zamfara Budgets N100million For Renovation Of 2 Emirs’ Lodges

The Zamfara State government has earmarked the sum of N100 million in its 2021 budget proposal for the renovations of Kaduna and Gusau Emirs’ lodges.

This was disclosed today during a town hall meeting organized by the state ministry of budget and economic planning held at Talata Mafara local government headquarters of Western senatorial districts in the state.

Speaking during the occasion, the commissioner ministry of budget and economic planning, Alhaji Jibo Magayaki Kaura said the purpose of the meeting was to highlight people and know the projects to be executed in their areas.

He mentioned that the sum of N100million was earmarked in the 2021 budget for the renovations of 2 emirs’ lodges at Kaduna and Gusau.

Jibo Kaura further said the town hall meeting would enable the participants to suggest if they have other projects of their choice for lawmakers to insert it into the budget.

“The opinion of the participants would be forwarded to the state House of Assembly for changes and amendments to the budget.”

He maintained that the town hall meeting was the first of its kind in the state stressed that, the ministry would prepare a report to be sent to the state House of Assembly for possible change.
