A delegation of Nigerian ministers and top government officials is set to present the performance report of President Bola Tinubu’s administration at a high-level international press conference scheduled to take place in London, United Kingdom, on June 27, 2025.
The event, spearheaded by the President Bola Tinubu Midterm Legacy Projects Review Committee, will feature presentations from notable figures including Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, and other key players in the administration. The forum aims to spotlight the administration’s performance across critical sectors over the past two years.
Bode Adeyemi, the Project Internal Coordinator of the review committee and President of the Tinubu Consolidation Mandate, made this known during a briefing held in Abuja. He stated that ministers, agency heads, and commission leaders will use the platform to engage with international media and stakeholders on Nigeria’s developmental progress.
“The purpose of this event is to reflect on the accomplishments of the Tinubu-led administration and to provide a transparent account of projects and reforms executed over the last 24 months,” Adeyemi said. “In the face of global economic headwinds and local challenges, this government has recorded milestones worthy of national and international recognition.”
A central feature of the event will be the official launch of a legacy projects compendium and an accompanying interactive website that catalogues the administration’s achievements.
Expected participants also include Interior Minister Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, NUPRC CEO Gbenga Komolafe, Federal Mortgage Bank Managing Director Usman Osidi, and FIRS Chairman Zacheous Adedeji.
During preparatory engagements with officials from the British High Commission in Nigeria, Tunde Doherty, the APC UK Chapter Chairman, underscored the strategic importance of the event in reshaping narratives about Nigeria’s governance efforts on the global stage.
“This press conference serves as a vital platform to correct misconceptions and provide factual updates on the reforms, innovations, and transformation taking place across sectors under President Tinubu’s leadership,” Doherty stated.
He pointed to notable achievements including Activation of production at public and privately owned refineries , Launch of major infrastructure projects like the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway , Progress in local government autonomy , Enhanced rule of law and security frameworks , Doubling of federal allocations to states following fuel subsidy removal.
The Tinubu administration’s scorecard, according to Doherty, also includes advancements in digital infrastructure, aviation, healthcare delivery, and job creation initiatives, all contributing to a more resilient and diversified economy.
Organizers say the London event is part of a broader outreach strategy designed to reinforce investor confidence, attract development partners, and promote transparency in governance.
