LOTUS Bank, a non-interest bank, has collaborated with the Lagos State Parks and Gardens Agency (LASPARK) on a tree-planting project.

The financial institution also celebrated her first anniversary by opening her 20th branch in Idumota, Lagos Island, and launching her first agency banking, LOTUSMART, to help grow the sector’s financial inclusion drive.

Mrs. Kafilat Araoye, Managing Director (MD)/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of LOTUS Bank, who spoke at the tree-planting event yesterday in Lagos, emphasized the significance of the exercise on the institution’s basic principles since its inception a year ago.

According to her, the commitment of LOTUS Bank to environmental friendliness is beyond just a symbol on its logo but also reflects on the modus operandi and the architecture of the organisation.

Also, General Manager of LASPARK, Adetoun Popoola, commended the bank’s partnership, which is critical in helping the United Nations (UN) and humanity to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
