Lagos State Postpones 2025 Public Service Examinations

The Lagos State Government has announced the postponement of the 2025 Public Service Examinations, initially scheduled for Tuesday, May 13. The decision was made to ensure the integrity of the examination process and to provide a fair experience for all candidates.

Mr. Adebayo Orunsolu, Director of the Lagos State Examinations Board, confirmed the rescheduling in a statement released on Monday evening. He stated that the examinations will now be held on Friday, May 23, 2025, with specific dates for individual papers to be announced in due course.


Candidates are advised to remain prepared and to regularly check the Examinations Board’s official portal at  for real-time updates. They are also reminded to retain their registration details and print their examination slips before the announcement of the new dates.

The Lagos State Government appreciates the patience and cooperation of all stakeholders and remains committed to conducting credible, transparent, and efficient Public Service Examinations.
