Infinity Trust Mortgage Bank appoints three new directors

The Board of Infinity Trust Mortgage Bank Plc. has announced the appointment of three new directors (two non-executive directors and an executive director). The appointments have been ratified by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

This is according to a notice signed by the Bank’s Head of Corporate Communications and Brand Support, Mr. Akinwale Ishola, and made available on the website of the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX).

According to the recent disclosure, the decision to appoint the new directors was approved at the company’s last Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in May 2021. The newly appointed directors are; Mrs. Abisola Obaleye (Non-Executive Director), Dr. Nkechi Bilbilari (NonExecutive Director), and Mr. Sunday Olumorin (Executive Director).

About the Directors

The newly appointed directors are expected to be valuable additions to the team given their wealth of private sector experiences.

Mrs. Abisola Obateye is a chartered accountant with over two decades of experience in budget management, personnel administration and procurement. She has considerable internal and external experience in senior corporate finance roles. She started her career as a Banker with Access Bank and rose to the position of Head of Operations at the defunct Pacific Bank in Abuja.

Abisola is an alumna of the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) and the University of Abuja, where she obtained a B.Sc. (Accounting) and MBA degree respectively. She is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), and an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).

Dr. Nkechi Bilbilari has a wealth of experience in Medicine and Public Healthcare, having worked in various capacities in both state and Federal Ministries of Health. She serves on the board of several companies and has used her medical orientation of diagnosis and precision to help guide companies through periods of major strategic change and growth. She is a graduate of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Calabar, Nigeria. She also holds a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, and a Masters in Public Health from the School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, University of London.

Mr. Sunday Olumorin is a seasoned banker with over 20 years cognate experience in financial services, consulting as well as commercial and mortgage –banking. He joined Infinity Trust Mortgage Bank Plc (ITMB Plc) on 21st March, 2005. He is unarguably one of the most experienced and versatile management staff in ITMB plc whose wealth of experience has contributed significantly to the growth and transformation of the bank.

Mr. Olumorin has headed many strategic departments and units in the bank including Business Development; Financial Control, Audit and Internal Control, and Information Technology.
