Furniture Association Sacks Two BOT Members

The United Furniture Association Abuja (UFAA) has passed a vote of no confidence on two of its members of Board of Trustees (BoT) Rev Kelvin Garba and Eze Nwankwue after being guilty of engaging in anti-union activities.
The Association during its general meeting held on September 8, 2020 stated that after reviewing the offenses which the duo were accused of and going through its constitution found Garba and Nwankwue guilty of anti-union activities, gross misconduct, breach of contract and breach of trust.

According to the resolution of the members signed by the President United Furniture Association Abuja Prince Emeka Egwuekwe and Secretary Chukwuebuka Chukwudum the house unanimously resolved as follows; “That a vote of no confidence is hereby passed on Rev Kelvin Garba and Eze Nwankwue.
“They should henceforth seize to parade themselves as Board Of Trustee members of the United Furniture Association Abuja
“They should with immediate effect hand over all the union documents and properties in their custody to the Executives and stop interfering in the union activities henceforth.”
