Areal estate development company, Posh Hauzes Ltd, has expressed its readiness to provide Nigerians with decent and affordable houses through innovative housing solutions.

The Managing Director of Posh Hauzes, Hauwa Zubair, was quoted in a statement as saying this on Saturday in Abuja at the company’s 2020 dinner and awards night.

The event was held to recognise the contribution of members of staff and other stakeholders of the company to the growth and development of the real estate sector.

Zubair said the company was committed to bridging the gap between the elite and low-income earners by building affordable luxury houses and providing a flexible payment plan to cater for the rising population and housing deficit in Nigeria.

According to her, the past three years has witnessed efforts by the company to develop Nigeria’s housing sector, through which the company has been able to provide Nigerians with decent homes at affordable prices.

She said it was clear that through dedication, commitment and support from the government, the momentum by the company to chart a new and more progressive path forward for the housing sector would soon be felt.

She urged the government to support the sector as “it is a key employer of unskilled and semi-skilled workers”.

Zubair explained that for every job created directly in the housing industry, another job was most likely generated due to its strong linkages with other sectors of the economy such as manufacturing and transportation.

She said, “The real estate industry is viewed as a man’s world and that should change. Women bring quality, compassion, empathy and won’t compromise quality and that is what we need in the real estate sector.

“We should not see ourselves as competitors rather let’s do more partnership in 2021. We want a lot of professionalism in our field.”

A director in the company, Abubakar Ahmed, commended the MD for the tenacity in driving the vision of the company.

He added that the company was determined to enter into strategic partnership with partners and stakeholders.

The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Youths and Sports, Gabriel Aduda, commended the management of the company for taking housing delivery to another level.
