The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Head of Civil Service, Mrs. Grace Adayilo, has died.
According to reports, she collapsed in the early hours of Monday and could not be revived. The exact cause of her death has not yet been disclosed.
Mrs. Adayilo made history in October last year when President Bola Tinubu appointed her as the first female and indigenous Head of Service in the FCT. A native of Abuja, she was the first to hold the role since the establishment of the FCT Administration.
Her most recent official duty was last Thursday, when she stood in for the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, at a G7 security meeting in Abuja.
