The first phase of the development of 2,500 housing units in Bauchi state by Family Homes Funds will be ready for occupiers in May 2021.

Project reports confirm that 1,220 units of the total 2,500 units across sites in Dungal, Misau and Azare in Bauchi are currently at about 80 percent, while landscaping and infrastructure are being finalized.

The project which took off in 2020 is the largest of its kind in Bauchi state and will offer great opportunities for low- and middle-income earners in the state to own homes at affordable prices with options for long term and flexible mortgages.

Family Homes Funds is a social housing scheme providing finance for the development of affordable housing across Nigeria in order to reduce the country’s housing deficit and make it possible for those on low and middle income own a home of their own. Through this intervention, the Fund is also providing hundreds of thousands of direct and indirect jobs across the country.

Family Homes Funds has completed several affordable housing projects in different states including Nasarawa, Kaduna, Delta, Kano, Ogun, Bauchi and Borno. Work is also ongoing at different stages in different states.
