A leading private real estate firm, AceRoyal Estates Homes Limited, has urged the government to strengthen collaboration with private developers to expand access to affordable and decent housing across Lagos State.

The firm’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Endurance Agonor, said achieving housing affordability requires deliberate policy support from all tiers of government, especially through public-private partnerships (PPPs), subsidised land allocations, and infrastructure development.

Dr. Agonor also called for fiscal incentives such as tax waivers, duty reductions on building materials, and support for housing cooperatives to boost home ownership among low- and middle-income groups.

“Government policies must encourage collaboration, provide critical infrastructure, and enforce affordable housing quotas,” he stated. “That’s the only sustainable path to closing Nigeria’s growing housing deficit.”

Agonor commended the Lagos State Government for partnering with AceRoyal Estates on Eko Paragon, a five-star residential project located in Abijo GRA, describing it as “a benchmark for innovation, comfort, and affordability” within the state’s property market.

According to him, the company is on schedule to deliver 105 luxury units within 12 months, with 41 units already completed and fully fitted in just eight months. He said the project reflects the firm’s mission to offer high-quality yet accessible housing options.

The Eko Paragon Estate features contemporary recreational amenities such as a gym, tennis courts, and landscaped green spaces, with only 32 per cent of the total land area built up to ensure a serene and spacious environment.

Housing options within the development include one-bedroom executive business suites, two-bedroom signature apartments, and three-bedroom terrace duplexes with boys’ quarters, all serviced with 24-hour power supply and private parking for residents and visitors.

Agonor described the estate as a model of affordable luxury living, blending architectural excellence with hotel-grade hospitality. “We have mastered the art of combining comfort, class, and elegance at a price that remains within reach,” he said, adding that homeowners can enjoy chef, laundry, and housekeeping services on demand.

He further assured buyers of the estate’s structural integrity and investment value, citing the use of top-quality materials, professional engineering, and detailed landscaping.

“As the housing shortfall continues to widen, bridging the gap will require consistency in policy, adequate infrastructure, and improved access to finance,” Agonor added. “With the right support, private developers can deliver more affordable homes while stimulating economic growth and job creation.”
