Dangote Cement Plc says it has committed about N4.38bn into various infrastructural projects as Corporate Social Responsibility for its 14 host communities in Yewa land in Ogun state.
A statement emailed on Sunday by a media relations official of Dangote Industries Limited, Francis Arowole-Browne, said this was disclosed by the company’s Head, External Relations, Joseph Alabi.
Alabi said since the inauguration of Dangote Cement in Ibese eight years ago, the company had executed capital projects to the tune of N4.38bn.
He itemized the projects as 40 classrooms, three health centres, 22 boreholes and three transformers totalling N4.1bn.
According to him, various on-going projects including 18 classrooms, four roads, one borehole, one health centre, and five transformers were estimated at N278m.
