The Housing Development Advocacy Network, HDAN in partnership with the leading artisans training and skill development company in Nigeria, C-STEMP has given relief items to support Artisans of different trades and vocations in some Abuja communities.

The relief package consisting different food items were distributed in communities including Bwari, dakwo, kabusa, and Damagaza communities in Abuja, and were targeted at 350 artisans unable to be gainfully since the lockdown began.

Speaking with Housing News, the Managing Director of C-STEMP, and Convener of the Construction Artisans Awards, Builder Anthony Okwa, stated that the outreach is critical at this time of lockdown, as artisans who rely on their daily pay may die of starvation or even be forced into committing crimes in a bid to survive, hence the need for distribution of palliatives.
