Buhari Swears In Sambo As New Minister Of State For Works & Housing

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday sworn in Mu’Azu Jaji Sambo as new minister of state for works and housing.

The ceremony which took place at the State House Council Chambers was attended by other top government officials.

Mr Sambo replaces Abubakar Aliyu, redeployed to Power Ministry after the president fired Sale Mamman and Mohammed Sabo Nanono, then Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development early September.

Aside redeploying Mr Aliyu, Mr Buhari also asked Mohammad Mahmood Abubakar, then Minister of Environment to move in as Minister of Agriculture & Rural Development.

Mr Abubakar’s office is still vacant and yet to be replaced as at press time.
