Breaking News: Enugu SHOPRITE Shutdown For Fear of Reprisal Attacks Over Xenophobia in SA

Shoprite Shopping Mall, Enugu has been shut down to checkmate a possible reprisal attack over the attack of Nigerians at South Africa.

Police officers and other security agents have been drafted to the complex to avoid any attack and breakdown of law and order.

In a quick reaction, the management of SHOPRITE Enugu condemned the attac of Nigerians in South Africa, describing the attackers as “incompatible with the values” of their company.

The notice which was posted at the entrance of their shop reads;  “Dear Customers, We condemn the Xenophobic attacks happening in South Africa in Its entirety.

“These Attackers are totally incompatible with the values of our company and we are not in anyway in support of it.”
