Emergency officials have rescued a man who was trapped under a building that collapsed at the Ago Palace Way axis of Lagos State on Friday.
He was given first aid treatment by medical officials present at the scene before he was taken to a hospital.
Meanwhile, the Director-General, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Dr Oluwafemi Oke-Osanyintolu, in an earlier statement said the impact of the collapse affected other structures close to the scene of the incident.
He said that once the recovery operation was completed, the remaining parts of the collapsed building would undergo controlled demolition.
