BREAKING: Gunshots As Police Arrest Okorocha For Fighting Over Seized Property

There were gunshots on Sunday when the Police arrested Senator Rochas Okorocha for allegedly leading some armed thugs to break into his wife’s property sized by the Imo State government.

The former governor is currently being held at the State’s Criminal Investigation Department (SCID).

Daily Trust reports that no fewer than two people were feared killed and several others wounded when former Governor Rochas Okorocha reportedly led his men to the Royal Spring Hotel, Akachi, Owerri, taken over the Imo state government.

Commissioner for Lands, Enyinnaya Onuegbu, had led his men to confiscate the property said to belong to Nkechi, Okorocha’s wife’s.

Okorocha was said to have led some of his men to forcefully take over the hotel on Sunday afternoon and some people sustained various degrees of injuries as gunshots were heard in the estate where the hotel in located.
