In recognition of its commendable service delivery in the last 10 years, the Africa International Housing Show (AIHS) has lauded the pioneer Non-Interest Bank in Nigeria, Jaiz Bank Plc for its positive contributions to the development of the Nation’s housing sector.

According to a statement by the AIHS Coordinator, Festus Adebayo in Abuja, “With the amount of mortgages issued and housing schemes funded and finished since the bank’s establishment in 2012, the bank has a strong tale of service delivery to share.”

He added that Jaiz bank’s non-interest finance scheme has impacted on the housing sector positively through the financing of estate projects, most especially in Abuja and Lagos respectively.

Consequently, he said: “It is on our record that Jaiz bank has won our housing friendly Bank awards in Nigeria twice. We are pleased to see how your balance sheet has grown through what you are doing for the real estate sector at a time most banks are avoiding real estate financing.”

Adebayo noted that despite paying the huge costs associated with pioneering, the Bank was able to break every limitation and grew all key performance indices exponentially over the years.

Jaiz Bank has over the years made a significant impact in empowering women, driving financial inclusion, and helping various strata of enterprises in the real sector of the economy, including Agriculture, Real Estate, Construction, Oil & Gas, General Commerce, among others.

It was not surprising, therefore, that the bank received international recognition when it received the Most Improved Islamic Bank award from the Global Islamic Finance Awards (GIFA) for 2020 and 2021 consecutively, among other accolades.

The bank is well-positioned to capitalize on its market acceptability and continue to innovate in order to continually deliver great customer experiences in a volatile business environment, hence retaining its obvious leadership in the non-interest banking industry.
