The Africa International Housing Show (AIHS), Africa’s largest housing and construction event, has sealed a strategic partnership with Housing TV Africa, the continent’s first dedicated housing and real estate television channel, to showcase the very best of AIHS exhibitors to a global audience.
This collaboration is designed to provide unparalleled value for companies that participated in the 19th edition of the Show, held in July at the prestigious Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.
Under the new arrangement, the innovative products, technologies, and services showcased during the event will now enjoy weekly television exposure under a subsidised paid initiative on Housing TV Africa, StarTimes Channel 149, and across the station’s YouTube and social media platforms.
The move is expected to expand market visibility and position exhibitors before millions of potential customers within Africa and across the world.
Convener of AIHS, Festus Adebayo, described the development as “a golden opportunity for companies to market their brands far beyond the conference halls.” According to him, the platform is designed not only for visibility but also for direct business growth.
“The good news is that opportunities are now created for organisations to advertise, while some have the privilege to choose the trade-by-barter option to enable them to market their products to millions of people across the continent and beyond,” Adebayo said.
The organisers confirmed that Housing TV Africa will also embark on special site visits to estate development companies and exhibitors that indicate interest, filming and broadcasting their innovative products and solutions. This, they explained, will give real estate developers, manufacturers, mortgage providers, and other firms a chance to showcase their expertise and reach a wider pool of investors, policymakers, and home-seekers.
Participation in the programme, however, will be on a first come, first serve basis, with companies encouraged to take advantage of the platform early to secure prime visibility. “Our high-level marketing team will also be on ground to add their voices to the production to give companies a boost,” Adebayo added, stressing that the partnership was created to ensure companies get maximum return on investment.
For companies and interested exhibitors, the benefits are enormous. Beyond the televised features, companies will gain online traction through Housing TV Africa’s growing digital audience, offering exposure that transcends national borders. The strategy aligns with AIHS’s vision of transforming the housing sector into a dynamic hub where innovation meets opportunity.
With this partnership, AIHS is not just an annual gathering but a year-round platform for business growth and industry visibility. Exhibitors and other brands now have a golden ticket to position themselves as leaders in Africa’s rapidly expanding housing and real estate market.
