Ahoada-Omoku Road: Rivers, Julius Berger Signs Treaty.

Rivers State government and Julius Berger engineering construction Plc, have signed a treaty for the dualisation of the Ahoada–Omoku road Phase 1 in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of the State.

Julius Berger in a statement described how the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, lauded the construction company for face lifting infrastructural projects across the state.

Gov. Wike added that he expected no less high premium performance from the Julius Berger company which has been generally acknowledged as the nation’s infrastructures development partner of choice on any technically challenging project, especially those of high priority across the country.

However, the dualisation of Ahoada-Omoku road contract is a sequel to the ongoing construction of other superbly engineered and very functional roads, flyover bridges and other infrastructures across Port Harcourt by Julius Berger.

Going further, Gov. Wike has called on the host communities of the project and related stakeholders to maintain social harmony and cooperate with the contractors for project accomplishment as scheduled by the Government.

Speaking at the event, the Director of Finance of Julius Berger Nigeria PLC, Mr. Martins Brack who represented Julius Berger’s Managing Director, Engr. Dr. Lars Richter, at the signing ceremony held inside the State Exco Council Chambers, said, “At Julius Berger, we welcome every challenge and we best it to the comprehensive satisfaction of our clients.; as always, Julius Berger is habitually, professionally prepared to take up any such task”

Dr. Richter added that Julius Berger’s experience over the years of collaborating with Nigeria for its critical infrastructural development needs, speaks volumes about our professional and operational resume. I assure the governor and people of the state, especially the communities the project is designed to serve, that their unique expectations from the dualisation project will be met.”

The signing ceremony was witnessed by top officials members in the Julius Berger team at the contract signing ceremony in Port Harcourt are- The Regional Manager, South South/South East, Nigeria, Engr. Juergen Fischer, Project Coordinator and management staff, South-south operations, Chief Sam Ngbor; and Contract Manager, Barr. (Mrs) Omonigho Brow.
