‘African Governments Ought To Pressure G7 and G20 For Debt Relief’

African governments have been advised to pressure the G7 and G20 for debt relief, in order that the monies meant for servicing those debts be diverted into an intervention fund to help people directly.

Chairperson – Global Alliance for Vaccinations & Immunisations, Dr. Ngozi Okwonjo Iweala says governmet need to act fast.

The government in Rwanda has extended rigid lockdown restrictions imposed last month to 19 April.

A two day virtual conference by a group of Africans home and abroad is being held from tomorrow the third of April, aimed at mapping out how Africa can tackle the Coronavirus crisis and how the continent can be better prepared for the future.
